Artillery Business Park consists of a range of mixed commercial / light industrial units which are in a variety of different sizes. These modern units suit businesses of various sizes and industries.
In addition to the industrial units we have The Fort Business Centre, also based on Artillery Business Park which features a suite of modern, fully serviced and fully furnished offices available in a range of sizes. The Fort features super fast fibre optic broadband, meeting facilities and receptionist services. To compliment the physical offices, The Fort also provides Virtual Office services to a large number of companies around the UK.
Licensees Matt Tommey and Kay Phasey have spent their lives working towards this point. Both have considerable experience and know what it takes to run a bustling, popular country inn.
Matt began his career at Hobsons Brewery, working up from the bottom. He started out doing part-time bar jobs and quickly graduated to management. He ran the Charlton Arms and The Church Inn, both in Ludlow, for Cedric and Claude Bosi. After that, it was time to go it alone and with two business partners he ran the successful Bennetts End, in Knowbury, near Clee Hill, which was a huge success. His partner, Kay, has similar experience, having also worked at Ludlow Food Centre. They settled down at The Cross Keys, at Kinnerley, where they provide a warm welcome for locals and visitors alike.
Their vision to ensure the pub remains at the heart of community, welcoming locals who want to socialise over a drink as well as guests looking for sensational food. They have built a strong drinking trade by keeping exceptional ales while the quality of food means The Cross Keys is also a destination food pub that welcomes people from far and wide. In many ways, tradition is at the heart of their work. They are firmly embedded in the local community and serve regular customers with considerable pride. They are passionate about their local village and put that first.
