This season we are looking more than ever to add some new faces to our well established Ladies Team.
Our Ladies section was opened up several years ago just by playing softball cricket. Over the last couple of years we have expanded and now play both softball and hardball cricket in a ladies only environment.
We are looking for players of any age (13+) and ability to join our team. Although we can be known to be quite competitive, we firmly share our club ethos of being inclusive and making sure everyone can be involved, playing cricket in a friendly, safe and fun environment.
This season we will be playing in the Shropshire 8s Hardball League as well as arranging a number of softball friendlies and training sessions. For the majority, all of the above takes place on Sunday mornings with the clubhouse open and we often stay behind to sit in the sun and socialise afterward.
If you don't want to play but are interested in being involved in another way, we are always looking for volunteers to Umpire and Score at our home games. Anyone can do this and don't worry if you have never done this before, we can show you how it's done.
