About the team

Coaching & Membership

For the younger U15s they are still welcome to attend junior cricket coaching on Monday evenings at The Nursery Ground. Please arrive around 18:00 for a 18:15 start. Sessions generally last around 1 hour.

For the older U15s and above (15-17) we have a separate Academy Membership, but currently do not have a team for this age group. It's common for some Academy players to still play within U15s, but the Academy is also seen as an important stepping stone to introduce members of this age to Senior cricket. So depending on ability, Academy players may be drafted into one of the Senior weekend teams.

Academy aged players are generally encouraged to attend coaching on a Friday evening at KKCC, please arrive around 18:00 for a 18:15 start.

Competitions
Typically, for competitive junior cricket (boys & girls mixed teams) we enter a team into the U15 Shropshire junior cricket league, along with any cup competitions.
For girls-only cricket we look to arrange friendlies where possible.
